A Word From Laura ~Creating useful, unique and one-of-a-kind items from antique linens if one of my passions. I especially enjoy using old vintage chenille quilts, old embellished hankies and crocheted/embroidered pillowcases. For me, an old vintage piece with a hole, or small blemish is not a problem. In fact, some of my best creations have come from items that might otherwise have been disgarded. Giving it new life and a shabby chic look is my specialty. My passion becomes your heirloom!
An old quilt can become unique beautiful bags embellished with a hanky pocket and vintage button. A white chenille bedspread can become bath mitts trimmed with rick-rack or tea towels embellished with old crocheted lace or fringe. That is the fun - creating and recycling linens. All my items have vintage history and I am warmed by the thought that they might become family heirlooms for you to pass on, becoming part of your family history.
