Glycolic Acid Wash

In a sulphate-free concentrated gel base, this Glycolic Acid Wash was created at the request of many clients. Glycolic acid is one of the alpha hydroxies, in fact it's one of the most affective yet we've use it at 12% of the blend so that it's not harsh. Research indicates that Glycolic Acid is more affective when used frequently in a lesser amount, than it is when used in the much higher percents used in some facial peels.

Restrictions: Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. The reason is that alpha hydroxies, whether natural or not help eliminate the dead skin layer that protects the skin. Just use caution and avoid the sun for a few hours after using any alpha hydroxy product.
